SIPV Programs
Soroptimists work together to invest in women and girls near and far by giving them resources to achieve economic empowerment. When women and girls are educated, they have opportunity, choice and power to make healthy decisions for themselves and their families.

The Pahrump Valley club (SIPV) was chartered in 2006 and is invested in providing assistance to women and girls, helping them to reach their full potential and live their dreams.
Each year SIPV provides community programs to raise
awareness in support of the following services:
CHRISTMAS FOR SENIORS
'Tis the season to be caring! Each year, our club sponsors our Christmas for Seniors project, providing homebound, isolated and low-income women seniors with a Christmas gift and life's necessities at Christmas time.
WOMEN'S FAIR
HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS
January is National Human Trafficking
Prevention Month. SIPV recognizes that trafficking in persons is a heinous violation
of fundamental human rights and must be strongly combatted.
LIVING FREE HEALTH & FITNESS
Every year SIPV hosts its inaugural Women’s Fair, bringing together area services and local residents to foster connection between the two sectors and open the door for beneficial interactions that help strengthen the community.
SIPV partners with Living Free Health & Fitness, an organization that provides addiction treatment and sober living services to help residents get over the hurdles attached to ending addiction.

Soroptimist's Dream Programs - Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women ® and Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls ® are primarily delivered locally by our clubs and members in 21 countries and territories. They provide the muscle and on-the-ground work that make our programs come alive:
Live Your Dreams Awards ®
Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards ® program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families. This award gives women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
Dream It, Be It ®
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls ® targets girls who face steep challenges like poverty and unstable home lives. To date, Dream It, Be It has helped put more than 35,000 girls on a positive path.
