What We Do
Fundraising Events
In providing assistance to women and girls, helping them to reach their full potential and live their dreams, Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley holds the following four fundraising events a year:
BUNCO
Join us for a game of Bunco, where you could win some cool prizes! We host two Bunco nights per year (March and October). Refreshments will be provided.

FASHION SHOW
The most anticipated event of the year! Join us at our annual Fashion Show, where fashion meets philanthropy. Get ready for a day of style, empowerment, and community support. Proceeds from this event go towards our Live Your Dream Award ® – our women’s education grant program and Dream It, Be It, Career Support for Girls ® program to support women and girls in Pahrump, NV and beyond. Your participation helps us make a meaningful difference.
FLOCKING
Sometimes we flock together to raise money and awareness for our organization. We have a tradition where we place pink flamingos on the lawns of community members to raise money. In exchange for the flock being removed, members must donate at least $20 to the club. The flock is also encouraged to be given to someone else.
MARDI GRAS
Our biggest fundraiser of the year, held at the Pahrump Nugget Events Center!
Mardi Gras is one fundraiser you won't want to miss! Dinner raffles, silent and live auctions, music, fun and our fabulous dessert dash! Make plans to join us! We raise upward of $30,000 and have approximately 200 participants yearly. The availability of tickets can be reserved by contacting the Chair.
