Send a surprise flock of pink flamingos — and a little joy — to a yard, business, or celebration in the Pahrump Valley.
Soroptimist International of Pahrump Valley has been flocking the community since 2021. What started as a pandemic fundraiser is now a year-round way to celebrate people you love, cheer on local businesses, and support programs that help women and girls.

October: flock pink for breast cancer awareness
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
For October flockings, Soroptimist International of Pahrump Valley will donate 50% of the proceeds to Hope Cancer Care of Nevada here in Pahrump.
The flock also has pink-ribbon yard signs and accessories they want everyone to see. Book an October flock if you want the surprise and a gift that stays local.
How a flocking works
A flock of bright pink flamingos appears on a lawn or storefront, usually with a “You’ve Been FLOCKED!” sign from Soroptimist of Pahrump.
You can send a flock for:
- Birthdays
- Anniversaries
- New babies
- Congratulations
- Just because (“What the Flock?”)
- Community support and special events
Donations support club programs that give women and girls access to education and training. A flock can also be used as a visible thank-you to a nonprofit or business the club wants to lift up.

The flock has new yard signs — in addition to Happy Birthday — designed and printed by club member Karen Holley.
Ask for one of these when you book:

Flockings are available year-round in the Pahrump area.

Flockings fund local work such as Live Your Dream awards, Dream It, Be It for high school girls, and other community projects. The same pink birds also show up at parades and civic events — including Fourth of July — because the flock never misses a chance to be seen.
